The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The night lights can overheat and smoke, posing a burn hazard.

Description: Energizer LED rotating night lights are white and have an LED light inside an adjustable dome on top. Model “NLPLROT” and date codes between 0110 (for January 2010) through 0111 (for January 2011) are recalled. The model number is on the side of the night light, and the date code is stamped on the back.

Sold at: Target stores nationwide from February 2010 through July 2012 for about $6.

Remedy: Unplug night lights and contact Energizer for instructions on returning night lights for a $7 coupon toward the purchase of an Energizer product.
