The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The high chair’s restraint buckle can open unexpectedly, allowing a child to fall.
Description: These plastic ANTILOP high chairs, sold in red (model # 501.467.93), blue (model # 501.467.93) or white (model # 300.697.24), have detachable silver-colored metal legs. The labels “ANTILOP” and “IKEA,” the model numbers, production dates (from 06/07 to 09/11) and supplier number (17389) are printed on the undersides of the seats.
Sold exclusively at: IKEA stores nationwide from August 2006 through January 2010 for about $20.
