The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available at http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.
Units: About 7,000 packs

Hazard: The surface paints on the action figures contain lead, which is toxic if ingested by children.
Description: Sold in packs of 12, the multicolored, plastic wrestling Super Luchamania action figures measure about four inches tall. “Super Luchamania” is printed on the packaging.
Sold at: Various Mexican specialty craft stores nationwide from June 2000 through October 2011 for $12 to $14 per pack.
Remedy: Return action figures to Lee Carter Co. for a refund or credit toward a replacement product.
