The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The garments fail to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injury.

Description: The pajamas, sold in boys’ and girls’ sizes 0-6X and 7-14, are 100% cotton poplin or 100% cotton flannel and have designs on them, including cows, scotty dogs, basketballs, ballerinas and popcorn. “Papa Bear Loungeabouts” and a picture of a bear are sewn into the neckline.

Sold at: Children’s clothing and specialty retailers nationwide and online from January 2004 to December 2011.

Remedy: Return pajamas to the place of purchase for a refund, exchange or store credit.
