Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The garments fail to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injury.
Description: The pajamas, sold in boys’ and girls’ sizes 0-6X and 7-14, are 100% cotton poplin or 100% cotton flannel and have designs on them, including cows, scotty dogs, basketballs, ballerinas and popcorn. “Papa Bear Loungeabouts” and a picture of a bear are sewn into the neckline.
Sold at: Children’s clothing and specialty retailers nationwide and online from January 2004 to December 2011.
Remedy: Return pajamas to the place of purchase for a refund, exchange or store credit.
