The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The night light can overheat or melt, and burn users.

Description: The plastic fronts on these rectangular LED night lights are white or nickel-colored and have four horizontal vents and a round light sensor above the top vent. The backs of the night lights are gray plastic and have the AmerTac logo, model number 71190 or 71190A, the “SY” identification code and “ETL” molded into them.

Sold at: Hardware stores, home centers and lighting showrooms from March 2009 through October 2010 for about $6.
