The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available at http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.
Units: About 1,800 in the United States and 350 in Canada
Hazard: The theaters can tip over and entrap children.
Description: The 4-in-1 dramatic play theaters, which measure 4-feet high when assembled, have two interchangeable themed panels on each side: a puppet theater and diner, or a doctor’s office and post office. Model number G51062 is printed on a sticker on the bottom of the center crossbar and on the assembly instructions.
Sold by: Catalogs, Guidecraft.com and other Internet retailers nationwide from July 2010 to April 2011 for about $180.
