Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The hoodies and jackets have drawstrings through the hood or neck that can catch on something and strangle a child.
Description: Trail Crest brand boy’s and girl’s hooded sweatshirts sold in sizes x-small, small and medium have a camouflage pattern on shoulders and arms. They come in brown, pink and purple. A tag sewn on the outside of the jacket on the left sleeve has style number 29121.
Sold at: Zulily.com and other stores nationwide from November 2012 to February 2013 for about $15.
Remedy: Remove the drawstrings to eliminate the hazard or return the clothing to Trail Crest for a refund. Trail Crest can provide a return address label and instructions for returning the clothing.
