The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available at www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.

Units: About 5,000

Hazard: The zipper pulls on the boots can become tangled, causing the child to fall.

Description: The Stuart Weitzman-brand Cha Cha and Cha Cha 2 boots come in black or white vinyl with quilted nylon shafts. They were sold in girls’ size 13 through 5. The boots have zippers with a gold-tone SW logo zipper.

Sold at: Bloomingdale’s, Belk Stores, TJ Maxx and Zappos.com from September 2011 through February 2013 for about $65.

Remedy: Return the boots for a refund.
