The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The outer end cap can come off and is a choking hazard.

Description: The plastic, egg-shaped instruments were sold in yellow, green, blue, red and purple. The toy instruments are about the size of small eggs and have a “Basic Beat” label printed on the front of the product. Lot Number 0E0212 is on the bottom.

Sold at: West Music stores, West Music Catalog, Westmusic.com, Amazon.com and at West Music booths at summer workshops from July through October 2012 for about $1.50.
