The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: Passengers’ feet can get caught in the rear wheel.
Description: Recalled are Mundo V4 cargo bikes with 26-inch steel frames, aluminum fenders on the front and rear wheels, and a wood utility deck mounted on the rear cargo rack. The bikes come in orange, black or blue. Serial numbers range from ADA11A008000 to ACA12D018000.
Sold at: Bicycle dealers nationwide and by Yuba Bicycles online from May 2011 through December 2012 for about $1,099.
Remedy: Contact Yuba Bicycles for free wheel covers/wheel skirts and installation.
