The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Units: About 5,000 pairs
Hazard: The stitched knit frog face and feet on the socks can detach, posing a choking hazard.
Description: Knit infant socks have a red ankle border with a lime green foot. Four fabric feet and a dark green frog head are stitched to the top of the toes.
Sold exclusively at: Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores from January to March 2013 for about $7.
Remedy: Return the socks to any Cracker Barrel Old Country Store for a refund, or send the socks to Classic Characters for a refund plus shipping costs. Mail to Classic Characters, 1320 Route 9, Champlain, NY 12919 via UPS ground or U.S. Postal Service.
