Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The bat’s barrel can separate from the handle during use and strike people nearby.
Description: The recalled Louisville Slugger OneX Fastpitch composite bats have a white and gray shell with blue and yellow lettering.
Sold at: Sporting goods stores nationwide, other retail stores, and distribution to college amateur competitive softball teams from May 2012 to February 2013 for about $350.
Remedy: Stop using the bat and contact Hilerich & Bradsby for a free replacement bat and the choice of an additional free item.
