The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available at www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.
Hazard: The flashlight can overheat, melt the plastic handle and burn the user.
Description: Made by Signature Designs, the flashlight body is black with white skulls and pumpkins and a label with number 14-121-02 and date 05/2014. The lens cover and switch are orange. The package contains three different projection slides.
Sold at: Meijer stores from September to October 2014 for about $3.
Remedy: Remove batteries from the flashlight and return it to any Meijer store for a refund.
