Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The colored arches can break, creating small parts that children can choke on.
Description: The Manhattan Toy Quixel plastic baby rattles have four colored arches (red, orange, green and blue) with sliding beads on each of the arches. The arches are held together by a single string of red, white and blue elastic.
Sold at: Specialty toy and baby stores and at www.manhattantoy.com from September 2011 through October 2013 for about $15.
Remedy: Return rattles to the store where purchased for a refund.
