The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available at www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.

Hazard: The jackets have a band of material at the neck that can strangle young children.
Description: The girls’ jackets have the name U.S. Polo Assn. with the year 1890, crossed polo mallets, a silhouette of two polo players and the initials USPA. The jackets come in fuchsia, green and cream in girls’ sizes 4-16. Q4 Designs LLC and style numbers can be found on the white label tag sewn into the inside of the jacket near the waist band. Recalled style numbers include U274-200 for sizes 4-6 and U274-300 for sizes 7-16.
Sold at: Burlington Coat Factory, Kids Stop and Cookie’s Department Stores from August to October 2013 for about $15.
Remedy: Remove or cut the band, or contact Q4 Designs for a refund.
