The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Hazard: The AmSafe QT1 harness buckle can become stuck in the latched position and put children at risk if the vehicle crashes or catches on fire.
Description: Recalled Graco rear-facing child restraints include SnugRide, SnugRide Classic Connect (including Classic Connect 30 and 35), SnugRide 30, SnugRide 35, SnugRide Click Connect 40 and Aprica A30. Toddler restraints include Step 2, Cozy Cline, Ready Ride, Comfort Sport, Classic Ride 50, My Ride 65, My Ride 70, My Ride 65 with Safety Surround, Size4Me 70, My Size 70, Head Wise 70 with Safety Surround, Smart Seat, Smart Seat with Safety Surround, Nautilus 3-in-1, Nautilus Plus, Nautilus Elite, Argos 70 and Argos 70 Elite. Remedy: A new buckle will be sent at no cost to the owner of any Graco seat, even if it has not been recalled. Car seats can continue to be used safely until the replacement harness buckle is received, according to Graco.
