The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: Slats/spindles and the top rail can detach from the crib and cause a child to become trapped.
Description: Four recalled models of Oeuf Sparrow cribs were sold in birch, gray, walnut and white. Manufactured between July 2007 and January 2014, the cribs have model numbers 1SPCR, 2SPCR, 4SPCR or 5SPCR located on the warning label attached to the crib’s mattress support.
Sold at: Independent juvenile specialty stores nationwide and online for about $800.
