Hazard: Bottles that contain gun bore cleaner have a child-resistant cap that can become loose. Chemicals in this product can cause skin irritation, internal injury or death if ingested.

Description: This recall involves Hoppe’s Semi-Auto Gun Bore Cleaner, packaged in a brown 5-ounce plastic bottle with a blue and yellow label and black cap. Item number SA904 can be found above the UPC code on the label.

Sold at: Gander Mountain, Walmart and various retail outlets from January 2010 through July 2014 for about $12.

Remedy: Make sure the cap is secured on the bottle, keep out of the reach and sight of children, and contact company for a replacement product and disposal instructions.
