The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: Drawstrings can become entangled or caught on playground slides, hand rails, school bus doors or other moving objects. Children can be strangled and/or entangled as a result.

Description: Recalled are Kiddie Korral girl’s pink hooded sweatshirts with red ponies. The zippered front hoodies have two front pockets, are made of 100% polyester and were sold in sizes 2 through 12. A label sewn into the garment’s neck seam reads “Kiddie Korral,” and a label sewn into the side seam has RN#117026 and style number 327.

Sold at: Children’s boutiques, gift shops and other specialty retail stores nationwide from December 2012 through November 2014 for about $25.

Remedy: Remove the drawstring, or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
