The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: Pajamas and robes may catch on fire easily, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.
Description: Recalled are 100% polyester Lazy One children’s sleepwear garments, including footed pajamas and two robes. One-piece “footeez” style footed zip-up pajamas are beige with a red, pink, blue and yellow owl print with the words “I’m OWL yours.” They were sold in children’s sizes small through extra-large. Recalled robes are pink or red with moose graphics and the words “Don’t Moose With Me.” They were sold in sizes 4T through 14. Garments marked “Flame Resistant” are not recalled.
Sold at: Department stores and children’s boutiques nationwide and online at www.lazyone.com from October 2013 through June 2014 for about $22 for the pajamas and about $15 for the robes.
Remedy: Return clothes to Lazy One for a free replacement garment, including shipping.
