The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The die-cast metal cars have sharp edges that can cut children.
Description: The recalled plastic toy truck with a plastic case holds six die-cast metal toy cars. The cab of the truck comes in black, blue or red. The package is labeled as “Tough Treadz Auto Carrier.”
Sold exclusively at: Family Dollar Stores nationwide from September through December 2014 for about $5.
Remedy: Return to any Family Dollar Stores location for a refund.
