The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The wire supports on the sides of the bassinet can disconnect causing the fabric sides to lower. Infants can fall out, be trapped or suffocate.

Description: Recalled is the 2-in-1 Bassinet to Cradle, sold in pink, blue, green and white. The bassinet has metal frame supports and fabric sides with a removable half-canopy on the top. The frame can be adjusted with two rocking legs on each end of the bassinet. The bassinet also can be removed from the frame and used as a bedside sleeper. Affected model numbers are 439-A, 439-B, 439-G, 439-P and 439-W, found on a tag under the mattress pad. This tag is removed before use.

Sold at: Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Wayfair.com, ToysRUs.com and Kohls.com from May 2012 to October 2014 for about $60.

Remedy: Contact Dream On Me for a repair. Parents should find an alternate, safe sleeping environment for the child until the bassinet is repaired.
