Vaccine recalled

Cannaught Laboratories and the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are recalling one lot, or 46,000 vials, of DTP vaccine, FDA officials say.

Four vials labeled as DTP vaccine found in a Connaught warehouse actually contained equine influenza.

The manufacturer is asking 1,865 customers nationwide who received vaccine from lot number 8M91038 to return it.

Fewer than half of the vials in the lot were distributed.
