Playskool safety seats

About 13,500 Playskool child safety seats have been recalled by Kolcraft, Enterprises, Inc., because tests showed that padded covers on the seats burned faster than allowed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), according to a NHTSA report.

The recall affects model numbers 140-155 and 180-400, which were manufactured from Dec. 1, 1989, to Aug. 31, 1990.
