Playskool baby pacifiers
Playskool Baby, Inc., is recalling its Sesame Street Big Bird pacifier, model number 3680/3682 and its Happy Face Animal mouse and elephant pacifiers, model number 3185/3188, because the pacifiers present a choking hazard. The pacifiers were sold individually and in assortment packages.
The pacifiers passed tests administered by the U.S. Product Safety Commission (CPSC), but 41 consumer complaints in 1991 caused Playskool Baby to recall the pacifiers. About 844,000 Sesame Street Big Bird and Happy Face Animal pacifiers have been sold nationwide since 1989.
