Car seat recalls

Reacting to low response rates of child safety seat recalls, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has embarked on a campaign to increase compliance with recalls.

NHTSA plans to increase the compliance rate for recalls of child safety seats in response to its finding of 12 recalls with an average response rate of 5 percent.
