Standing Strong for Children is the theme of Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Day, May 18. The day falls during EMS Week, May 15-21.

EMSC Day serves to raise awareness about improving and expanding specialized care for children in the prehospital and acute care settings. Resources are available to help hospital personnel, EMS providers, EMSC grantees and parents/caregivers become more aware of the EMS needs of children.
