Improve adolescent STI care
Up to 15 primary care pediatric practices will be chosen to participate in a six-month learning collaborative to improve adolescent health care and increase chlamydia screening in the pediatric clinical setting. The application deadline for the Improving Capacity to Reduce Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) Among Adolescents Quality Improvement (I CaRe QI) collaborative is Jan. 19.
In partnership with clinical and QI experts, practice teams will receive guidance in QI methods, tools and resources to address confidentiality concerns, support better assessment of adolescent health risks, and increase screening for chlamydia in patients ages 13 to 24 years old. Review the Collaborative Charter for requirements and expectations. Visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ICaReQI_practice_application.
