Nominations for candidates seeking positions on 2020 national committees are being accepted until Feb. 21. Members will be appointed during the Board of Directors meeting in May. Terms begin July 1.

Two senior leaders needed
If you consider yourself a seasoned leader, the AAP Section on Early Career Physicians wants you to apply for the 2020-’22 Young Physicians Leadership Alliance training program.
Two senior faculty leaders will be selected and paired with mentees individually and in a small group setting to foster the development of leaders and build a leadership community among early career physicians. Over the three-year period, you’ll work with mentees to develop and present sessions during the AAP National Conference & Exhibition. You also will participate in quarterly conference calls to talk with your small group about their individual leadership projects and challenges.
Senior faculty leaders will receive coaching to support their own development and ensure the program’s success.
