Baby food recalled

All H-E-B brand baby food sold in two pack, 4-ounce cups are recalled because a small piece of rubber was found inside a container of one variety of the product. No injuries or illnesses have been reported. A list of recalled products and their codes is available at http://bit.ly/2havSTw.

Customers can return the baby food to the nearest H-E-B store for a refund.

Homeopathic children’s products

Several homeopathic children’s products are being recalled because they may contain a toxic substance. The products are made by Raritan Pharmaceuticals for Homeolab USA.

The recalled teething tablets and ear relief liquids contain levels of belladonna that vary from the label, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Belladonna is a plant also known as deadly nightshade. Too much belladonna can cause increased heart rate and body temperature, constipation, dry skin and mouth, agitation and hallucinations, according to the FDA. Infants also may become drowsy.

Recalled products are CVS Homeopathic Infants' Teething Tablet 135 tablets (UPC 050428424162, lots 41116 and 43436); Kids Relief Homeopathic Ear Relief Oral Liquid 0.85 fluid ounce (UPC 778159090639, lot 35254); and CVS Homeopathic Kids' Ear Relief Liquid 0.85 fluid ounce (UPC 050428441633, lot 33149).

Dehumidifiers

Units: About 2.5 million

Hazard: The dehumidifiers can overheat and start a fire.

Description: Recalled are 20-, 25-, 30-, 40-, 45-, 50-, 65- and 70-pint dehumidifiers with brand names Danby, De’Longhi, Fedders, Fellini, Frigidaire, GE, Gree, Kenmore, Norpole, Premiere, Seabreeze, SoleusAir and SuperClima. Recalled model numbers and date codes are listed at http://bit.ly/2gLrry7.

Sold at: AAFES, HH Gregg, Home Depot, Kmart, Lowe’s, Menards, Mills Fleet Farm, Sam’s Club, Sears, Wal-Mart and other stores nationwide and in Canada, and online at Amazon.com and Ebay.com from January 2005 through August 2013 for $110 to $400.

Projection nightlights

Units: About 39,000

Hazard: The nightlights can short circuit, posing shock and fire hazard to consumers.

Description: The projection nightlights have a rotating plug and dome top with LED lights that change from red to blue to green. “Made in China” and “0.6W 60Hz 120VAC” are etched in the plastic base near the plug component.

Go-karts

Units: About 9,900

Hazard: The fuel tank can crack and cause the fuel to leak out, posing a fire hazard.

Description: This recall involves model years 2009 through 2015 Hammerhead Off-Road GL 150, GTS 150 and GTS Platinum fun-karts. The recalled fun-karts have two seats and a rear cargo rack and were sold in red, black, white, orange, blue and green. “GTS” is printed on the side cage and the hood of the GTS models, and “Hammerhead” is printed on the hood of the GL models. Serial numbers are printed on the crossbar behind the seats.

Sold at: Hammerhead Off-Road dealers nationwide from August 2009 through July 2016 for $2,100 to $2,900.

Bath seats, chairs

Units: About 7,000

Hazard: The bath seats/chairs can tip over, putting the baby at risk of drowning.

Description: The recalled Lexibook Baby Bath Seats and Chairs are intended for children ages 6 months and older. They have a plastic base with suction cups on the bottom, a back/arm support and a toy tray. “Lexibook” is stamped on the back/arm support. “Made in China” and “2014 Lexibook Limited IT028/IT029 SN: 1407/VA09” are stamped on the bottom of the base. They were sold in a variety of colors.

Children’s shoes

Units: About 5,500

Hazard: The rivets on the shoes have sharp edges that can cut children.

Description: The Skidders Footwear children’s canvas tennis shoes were sold in three sizes: 12M, 18M and 24M. The shoes have white rubber bottoms and come in navy blue fabric with orange rivets and laces, gray fabric with green rivets and laces, and denim colored fabric with pink rivets and laces.

Sold exclusively at: Meijer stores in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky and Wisconsin from August through October 2016 for about $10.
