Stop using these inclined infant sleepers

The following inclined sleepers are recalled because they put infants at risk of suffocation.

 

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database atwww.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available atwww.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.

 

Glass milk bottles

Units: About 44,300

Hazard: The bottles can break unexpectedly during use.

Description: Recalled are glass 33.5-ounce Libbey-brand milk bottles. The clear colorless bottles have no markings. Item number 92129 and manufacturing dates of Aug. 15, 2019, or Aug. 31, 2019, are printed on the original carton packaging.

Sold at: Libbey sold the recalled bottles to food service distributors, including Edward Don & Company and The Wasserstrom Company for about $2 per bottle.

Remedy: Foodservice establishments and customers should stop using the bottles and contact the firm for a credit voucher or replacement bottle.

Adjustable student stools

Units: About 4,700 

Hazard: The foot support on the stool was improperly welded and can break, causing users to fall.

Description: Recalled are Stand2Learn adjustable-height stools. The steel stools have a black padded seat, four stabilizing cross bars supporting the legs and adjustable footpads for leveling. Model 42058 is under the seat, and UPC code 8-13866-02360-7 is on the package.

Sold at: Online at varidesk.com, schoolspecialities.com, wayfair.com and amazon.com, and through corporate sales and third-party resellers from June 2018 through November 2019 for about $95.

Mini strollers

Units: About 2,000

Hazard: The hinge joints on the stroller can release and collapse, putting children in the stroller at risk of falling.

Description: Recalled are four models of black Tango mini strollers. Colors and models are quartz pink (ST31D09A), Sedona gray (ST31D10A), jet black (ST31D11A) and purest blue (ST31D03A).

Sold at: Target stores and online at target.com and amazon.com from October through November 2019 for $100 to $120.

Remedy: Contact Baby Trend for a replacement or refund.

Children’s lounge pants

Units: About 2,200

Hazard: The lounge pants do not meet the requirement that children’s sleepwear must be snug-fitting or flame resistant.

Description: The 100% cotton lounge pants were sold in 18 patterns in children’s sizes small through extra-large. Brand name “TINFL” is printed on an inside side seam label, along with one of these lot numbers: 58500-51, 58500-52, 58500-53, 58500-54, 58500-55, 58500-56, 58500-57, 58500-59, 58500-60, 58500-61, 58500-62, 58500-63, 58500-65, 58500-66, 58500-67, 58500-69, 58500-70 or 58500-71.

Sold at: Online at www.amazon.com from October 2018 through September 2019 for about $18.

Remedy: Do not allow children to use the pants as sleepwear. Contact the K-Apparel for a refund.

Catcher’s helmets

Units: About 1,400

Hazard: The back plate of the catcher’s helmet can fail to protect the player. This puts the user at risk of head injury.

Description: The recalled Rawlings CHMACH-SR (senior) catcher’s helmets were sold in color combinations black and white (UPC 083321545504), green and white (UPC 083321545511), navy and white (UPC 083321545528) and red and white (UPC 083321545566). A sticker inside the helmet reads CHMACH-SR-RevA.

Sold at: Sporting goods stores and online at rawlings.com and other online stores from July 2018 to September 2019 for about $200.

Remedy: Stop using the helmet and contact Rawlings for a replacement back plate for head sizes 7.5 and below or a refund for sizes over 7.5.

Bead maze toy

Units: About 980

Hazard: Children can choke on the wooden triangle piece in the Sophie la Giraffe Bead Maze toy.

Description: The recalled wood-based bead maze toy is in the shape of the Eiffel Tower with a Sophie giraffe figure and three shapes that can be sorted into the base. Batch numbers recalled include 9321/J09504/022019, 9474/J09504/042019 and 9549/J09504/052019.

Sold at: Specialty toy and gift stores from February to November 2019 for about $25.

Remedy: Destroy the triangle piece and contact Juratoys for a replacement triangle piece.

Tricycles

Units: About 370

Hazard: Paint on the canopy’s frame and tricycle components contain lead. Lead is toxic if young children put it in their mouths.

Description: The Little Bambino 4-in-1 canopy children’s tricycle can be used as a push stroller or a push, training and classic tricycle. The tricycle came in blue, pink or red, with a back handle, elongated back rest, basket, canopy and a bell on the front handle. Recalled is model BW204 with UPC code 653981740030, 653981740092, 653981740108, 656857123326, 656857123333 or 656857123340.

Sold exclusively at: amazon.com from October 2018 through June 2019 for $97 to $130.

Remedy: Contact Thesaurus Global Marketing for a refund.
