The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Plastic activity toys
Units: About 22,100
Hazard: The plastic tubes attached to the center ball can fall off. This causes the small silicone teething beads on the tubes to fall off. Young children can choke on the small parts.
Description:Theactivity toys have 12 soft plastic tubes that are inserted into the center ball and seven silicone teether beads threaded onto the tubes. “The Manhattan Toy Company” and lot code 325700EL or 325700IL are printed on the center ball.
Sold exclusively at: Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com from July 2019 through June 2020 for about $10.
Remedy: Take the toy away from children. Contact Manhattan Toy or return it to any Target store for a refund.

Bassinets
Units: About 3,000
Hazard: The bassinet’s mattress support can become disengaged. Infants can become trapped or fall out of the bassinet.
Description: Wooden DaVinci Bailey bassinets were sold in gray (M0934G), espresso (M0934E), natural (M0934N) and white (M0934W). The model number is on a label attached to the mattress support board and on the package. Bassinets were sold with a waterproof cradle pad.
Sold online at: Amazon.com, buybuybaby.com, Target.com, jcpenney.com and other internet retailers from August 2018 through September 2019 for about $110.
Remedy: Stop using the bassinets and contact the company for a repair kit to reinforce the mattress support. Find an alternate, safe sleeping environment (e.g., a crib that meets safety standards).

Platform beds
Units: About 2,440
Hazard: The headboard on the bed can separate from the side rails.
Description: Crate and Barrel Parke model twin and full platform beds have a wood headboard and frame. Colors, sizes and SKU numbers are white twin (206538) and full (206648), navy twin (206732) and full (206888), and charcoal twin (206935) and full (206978).
Sold at: Crate and Barrel stores nationwide and online at www.crateandbarrel.com from December 2018 through January 2020 for about $500 for the twin bed and about $600 for the full bed.
Remedy: Stop using the beds and contact Crate and Barrel for a replacement.

Folding mattresses
Units: About 1,600
Hazard: The mattresses pose a fire hazard.
Description: Downeast’s Mattress on the Go folding mattresses are two-tone gray and can be used as a small sofa or chair. Only the twin-sized mattresses are recalled. Downeast Home & Clothing, Item # 5540033515 and Made in China are printed on a white tag under the head panel of the mattress.
Sold at: Downeast stores nationwide and donated to various facilities from November 2017 through December 2019 for about $110.
Remedy: Contact Downeast to receive a free fitted liner to cover the mattress.

Bicycles
Units: About 1,530
Hazard: The bicycle’s front frame triangle can crack, cause the head tube to separate from the frame and put riders at risk of falling.
Description: Alloy models of Rocky Mountain model year 2018-’20 Instinct, Instinct BC and Pipeline trail bikes are recalled. Bikes were sold with 29-inch and 27.5-inch wheels. The serial number is under the bottom frame bracket and starts with PRK17, PRK18 or PRK19-XXXXX. Only non-electric bicycles are affected.
Sold at: Independent bicycle stores from August 2017 through June 2020 for $2,600 and $4,700.
