Science kits
Units: About 13,000
Hazard: Paint on the red and blue magnet contains lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children. The product also includes magnets and balloons but does not have required warning labels on the package.
Description: The recalled Anker Play Products 10-in-1 Incredible Inventions Science Kit contains a red and blue rectangular magnet bar, two yellow balloons, a small lightbulb, metal clips, paper clips, a sticker page, three red coated wires and various other wires, screws and small mechanical parts. “Adventure Club” is printed on the front of the box.
Sold at: Menards and small toy stores nationwide from August through November 2020 for about $6.
Remedy: Stop using the science kit, take the red and blue magnet away from children and contact Anker Play Products for a refund.

Prescription medicine packages

Hazard: The prescription medications are not in child-resistant packaging. If young children swallow the medicine, they could be poisoned.
Description: Recalled are blister packages of prescription medications from Dr. Reddy’s, including imatinib mesylate tablets, pregabalin capsules, sevelamer carbonate tablets and tadalafil tablets. View the list of recalled medications, lot numbers and expiration dates at https://bit.ly/3q3dv1W.
Sold by: Wholesalers may have sold the medications to U.S. retail pharmacies.
Remedy: Store recalled medications out of children’s reach, and contact Dr. Reddy’s for a refund.

Body jewelry

Hazard: The nose piercings and body bars have elevated levels of nickel, which can irritate skin.
Description: The following Primark five-pack nose or body piercings are recalled: white nose piercing (4102701), yellow nose piercing (4102702), white body bar (2064701) and yellow body bar (2064702).
Sold at: Primark stores in the Northeast, Florida and Chicago from August through December 2020 for about $3.50 for the five-pack nose piercing and about $2.50 for body bar piercing.
Remedy: Stop using the recalled products and return them to a Primark store for a refund.

Helmets
Units: About 480
Hazard: The helmets were incorrectly advertised and marketed for children 2 years and older but do not meet required safety standards for children under age 5. The helmets pose a risk of head injury for children under 5.
Description: The Bee Free-branded children’s multipurpose helmets are yellow with black straps and a black clip. Bee Free is printed on the back, and model RPBFHYS is printed on a label inside the helmet. Only size small helmets for a head circumference of 18.9 to 21.2 inches are recalled.
Sold at: Online at Amazon.com, Lowes.com, Homedepot.com and Walmart.com from May 2020 through January 2021 for about $16.
Remedy: Do not allow children ages 2 through 4 to use the helmets. Contact SmartPool for a refund.

Charging tables

Hazard: The charging receptacles and/or USB ports installed in the accent tables can have an electrical issue, and the user can be shocked.
Description: Recalled are multiple styles and colors of side accent tables with charging receptacles and USB ports. Some units have mirrored accents, one drawer or two drawers. The unit has a hang tag that reads “J Hunt Home” or “J Hunt & Co.” A white label on the underside or back of the unit has the item number and date code between April 2019 and November 2020.
Sold at: HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Marshalls and other home furnishings stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com and other online sites from May 2019 through December 2020 for $60 to $130.

Bunk beds
Units: About 195
Hazard: The screws that hold the bed’s mattress foundation to the guardrails can be loose, and the mattress foundation can fall. Children can fall off the bunk bed.
Description: Recalled are Casa Kids Cabina bunk beds manufactured in February 2018, June 2018, May 2019 and December 2019. The date is on a label on the lower part of the bottom bunk’s headboard panel. The bunks are made from Baltic birch plywood with a natural finish and white painted surfaces.
Sold: Online at www.casakids.com from April 2018 through November 2020 for about $1,500.
Remedy: Stop using the bunk beds until the screws that hold the bed’s foundation to the guardrails are inspected. If the bed’s guardrails are not tightly in place, Casa Kids will send consumers a new set of screws.
