Two AAP-backed campaigns focus on firearm safety in June.
Pediatricians can share information from the AAP about gun safety and children. The ASK (Asking Saves Kids) campaign urges parents to ask: “Is there an unlocked gun in your house?” before sending children over to play.
The Wear Orange campaign honors those who have died as a result of gun violence and to demand a future free from gun violence.
