Liquid herbal supplement for infants recalled :

February 19, 2019

DG Baby Gripe Water is being recalled due to an undissolved ingredient.

Kingston Pharma, LLC has received four complaints, including a 1-week-old infant having difficulty swallowing the product due to undissolved citrus flavonoid, according to a news release from the company.

Kingston is voluntarily recalling all lots of the liquid herbal supplement, which is sold in 4-ounce bottles at Dollar General stores. The product contains organic ginger and fennel extracts and is marketed as relieving stomach discomfort from gas, colic, fussiness, hiccups and teething.

Customers with questions or problems can contact Christina Condon or C. Jeanne Taborsky at 844-724-7347 or by email, [email protected]. They also can report adverse events to the Food and Drug Administration’s MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program at www.fda.gov/medwatch/report.htm.
