Foam in virtual reality headsets
Units:About 4 million
Hazard: The foam facial interfaces can cause skin irritation, including rashes, swelling, burning, itching, hives and bumps.
Description: Recalled are removable foam facial interfaces included with Oculus Quest 2 Virtual Reality Headsets and sold separately as a Quest 2 Standard Facial Interface or in a Quest 2 Fit Pack. Only headsets with the following SKUs are included in the recall: 301-00350-01, 301-00351-01, 301-00409-01, 301-00374-01 and 301-00402-01. Headset serial numbers start with “1WMHH” and end with a number below “1264.”
Sold at: BestBuy, GameStop, Target, Walmart and other retailers, and online at Oculus.com, Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, Gamestop.com, Target.com and Walmart.com from October 2020 to July 2021. The interfaces included with headsets sold for $300 to $400 or $20 when sold individually and $40 as part of a Fit Pack.

Rattles

Hazard: The feet on the Winnie the Pooh rattle can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Description: The Baby Winnie the Pooh rattle set has three rattles for babies ages 3 months and up.
Sold at: Walgreens stores from September 2019 through January 2020 for about $10.
Remedy: Take the rattle away from children and contact Walgreens for a refund.

Kids’ sandals

Hazard: A plastic rivet can detach from the sandal’s ankle strap, posing a choking hazard for young children.
Description: Recalled are Birkenstock Mogami sandals sold in sizes 24 to 28 (toddler sizes) in black, blue, pink and lime colors. The plastic rivets that attach the back strap to the side of the sandal are pink on the pink sandal and black on all other sandals.
Sold at: Dick’s Sporting Goods, Foot Locker and other retailers and online at Birkenstock.com and Zappos.com from March through May 2021 for about $50.
Remedy: Take the sandals away from children and return to the place of purchase for a refund.

Hazard: The fan’s lithium-ion battery can overheat while charging, posing a fire hazard.
Description: The portable rechargeable handheld fans come in blue, pink and purple and have a one-touch button with three speeds. Item number 9050103 is on the box and on a sticker on the fan.
Sold at: Rite Aid stores nationwide from April through June for about $10.
Remedy: Stop using the fans and contact Rite Aid for a refund.

Pajamas, sleepwear sets
Units: About 6,000 pajamas and 2,320 sleepwear sets
Hazard: The recalled pajamas and sleepwear sets fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.
Description: Recalled Tkala Fashion two-piece pajamas were sold in sizes 1-8Y, 10Y and 12Y in multicolor dinosaur, orange and white dinosaur, gray shark, green dinosaur, black and white dinosaur, and black rocket ship. Recalled Shein sleepwear sets with matching eye mask were sold in sizes 120, 130, 140, 150 and 160. Styles include a two-piece, short-sleeve top and pant set in a multicolor plaid print and a two-piece, long-sleeve top and pant set in a cartoon dinosaur print. SKU Sknight10190731477 or Sknight10191129405 is printed on a tag in the garment.
Sold at: Tkala Fashion pajamas were sold at Amazon.com from January through June for $7 to $15. Shein sleep sets were sold at shein.com from August 2019 through January 2021 for $8.

Hazard: The rear shock spring on the bicycles can become stuck, posing a risk of injury or causing the bicycles to stop unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard to the rider.
Description: Recalled are Ozone 500 Elevate 24-inch bicycles in fuchsia and black (style 164538) and black and red (style 164540). Ozone 500 is printed on the frame.
Sold at: Academy Sports + Outdoors stores and online at www.academy.com from October 2020 through May 2021 for about $300.
Remedy: Return the bicycles to any Academy Sports + Outdoors store for a repair or refund, or contact the company for a replacement shock and repair instructions or a pre-paid shipping label to return the bicycle for a refund.

Chests
Units: About 1,200 Creekside Kids and 90 Barrington brand chests.
Hazard: If they are not anchored to the wall, the chests can tip over and fall onto children, causing serious injury or death.
Description: Creekside Kids five-drawer chests were sold in charcoal and chestnut. Canyon Furniture Co., SKU number 34595035 (charcoal) or 34495045 (chestnut), and a manufacture date between April 2020 and March 2021 are on a label on the back. Barrington five-drawer chests are brown with silver drawer knobs and have a sticker on back that says Mollai collection.
Sold at: Creekside Kids chests were sold at Rooms To Go stores and at www.roomstogo.com from April 2020 through March 2021 for about $430. Barrington chests were sold at Bel Furniture stores in Texas and online at www.belfurniture.com from October 2014 through July 2016 for about $250.
Remedy: Stop using the chests and contact the company for a repair, replacement or store credit refund.
