Sunscreen sprays
Coppertone is recalling five types of aerosol sunscreen spray because benzene was detected. Benzene exposure can cause cancer in humans, but daily exposure to levels of benzene detected in the spray is not expected to cause health problems. Disinfection wand
The Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers not to use the Max-Lux Safe-T-Lite UV handheld germicidal wand because it emits a level of radiation that is more than 3,000 times stronger than the ultraviolet exposure limit. Infant loungers
The Boppy Company is recalling Boppy original and preferred newborn loungers and Pottery Barn Kids Boppy newborn loungers. Infants can suffocate if they roll, move or are placed in the lounger in a position that obstructs breathing or if they roll off the lounger onto soft bedding or a pillow that obstructs breathing. All-terrain vehicles
- Luyuan Inc. is recalling youth all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) because they do not meet federal mandatory safety standards for maximum speed limits and other safety rules for vehicles used by children under age 10. - Venom Motorsports is recalling youth electric and gas ATVs because they do not meet mandatory safety requirements including speed restrictions. The ATVs were sold between August 2020 and January 2021. Call 888-414-6548.
- Polaris is recalling model year 2011 through 2021 Phoenix 200 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) for repair because the throttle speed control stop can break and become stuck, posing a crash hazard. Kids’ bicycles
Wiggle Ltd. is recalling Vitus 14 and Vitus 16 kids’ bicycles because they have handbrakes but no footbrakes. Sidewalk bicycles are required to have both. Young children are at risk of injury if they are unable to stop the bicycles using just handbrakes. The bicycles were sold from January 2017 to April 2021. Juratoys is recalling Janod shaving kit toys because the brown trim on the shaving kit bags contains high levels of a phthalate that can cause health problems if ingested by young children.
