Hand sanitizer

American Screening is recalling hand sanitizer with 70% ethyl alcohol because it is packaged in 8-ounce containers that look like water bottles. If people drink the hand sanitizer, they can become ill or die. Call 318-606-6037 or email [email protected].

 

 

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Baby clothes

Hanna Andersson is recalling baby rompers and long sleeve top and pant sets. Snaps on the clothing can detach, and young children can choke on them. Pool ladders

VidaXL is recalling ladders for above-ground pools. The steps of the ladder can loosen, and people using the ladders can fall or drown. The ladders were sold from February through August 2021. Bike helmets

Backyard playsets

Backyard Play Systems is recalling outdoor playsets with a wooden roof. Children can become trapped in the gap between the lower part of the roof structure and the bottom of the gable decoration. Projector flashlights

Halo is recalling projector flashlights because children can take them apart and choke on or swallow the button cell batteries inside. One child needed surgery after swallowing a battery. The flashlights were part of care packages distributed by Starlight Children’s Foundation to hospitals and health care facilities between February and June 2021. Call

Dumbbell handles

Impex Fitness is recalling OBB-20 Fitness Gear Olympic dumbbell handles because the locking collars can slip. When held perpendicular to the floor, the weights can drop and injure the user.
