Prepare now for new ICD-10-CM codes that take effect Oct. 1

Updates to the International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) code set will take effect on Oct. 1. AAP members and their coding colleagues are reminded to prepare now to avoid denials of claims billed for a date of service on or after Oct. 1.
