He is in the original cohort of pediatric emergency physicians with scholarly interests that include injury prevention, prehospital pediatrics and the needs of underserved communities. Dr. Wright chaired the AAP Task Force on Bias and Discrimination and is lead author of the AAP policy statement Eliminating Race-Based Medicine.

As clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and medical director of Proyecto Lacta, a hospital-based breastfeeding clinic, her efforts extended to medical students, pediatric house staff and others.

Dr. Schubert’s career has focused on delivering quality medical care to patients living in poverty in the U.S. and Africa. He was a founder of a community health center in Cincinnati and developed a global health residency program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Dr. Schubert also works with the nonprofit Kids of Malawi.

Dr. Nuss is known internationally for his contributions to pediatric surgery and thoracic surgery. He invented and developed the Nuss procedure for pectus excavatum at CHKD, where he practiced for more than 30 years.

Polk Jr. Department of Surgery in the Division of Pediatric Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and medical director of surgical quality at Norton Children's Hospital. Dr. Fallat is past chair of the Section on Bioethics Executive Committee and a former member of the Committee on Bioethics.

Kimberly A. Randell, M.D., M.Sc., FAAP
She is a pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) attending at Children’s Mercy Kansas City and professor of pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. Dr. Randell is an inaugural member of the Section on Emergency Medicine Women in PEM Subcommittee and founding chair of Children’s Mercy’s Faculty-Trainee Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Gender Equity Subcommittee.
