Several companies are recalling pack and play mattresses because they violate federal safety regulations for crib mattresses and pose a suffocation hazard to infants.

Inclined sleeper bassinets
Peg Perego is recalling 550 YPSI and Z4 inclined sleeper bassinets because they violate the Safe Sleep for Babies Act, and children can roll onto their stomach while unrestrained. The bassinets were sold online by Amazon, Albee Baby, Strolleria and other websites and at Baby First Furniture stores nationwide from July 2022 to April 2023 for about $250. Dress-up playsets
Perch is recalling 205,000 Litti City premier doctor playsets and teacher purse sets, Litti Pritti stylist handbag sets and Prextex slime eggs. The dress-up playsets contain levels of phthalates that exceed federal standards. The teacher purse playsets, handbag playsets and slime eggs contain levels of lead that exceed federal levels. Lead and phthalates are toxic and can cause adverse health effects.

Two companies are recalling children’s cups because the bottom exterior of the cups contain lead, which can cause adverse health effects to children.
