Health Alerts: Liquid vitamins, sleepwear, hydrogen peroxide, magnetic ball sets and more recalled

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to the CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available at www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.

 

Liquid vitamins

Nordic Naturals is recalling one lot (3,800 units) of Nordic Naturals Baby’s Vitamins D3 Liquid, 0.76 fl. oz. (22.5 mL), 400 IU (10 mcg) D3 because the product contains elevated levels of vitamin D3 dosage or super potent dose. The recalled lot number is 234909 with an expiration date of December 2025. Hydrogen peroxide

Nutraceutical is recalling 102,100 bottles of Heritage Store hydrogen peroxide mouthwash because the packaging is not child resistant and poses a risk of poisoning if swallowed by children. The mouthwash was sold at Whole Foods, Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, Mom’s Organic Market, New Season’s Market, Mother’s Market & Kitchen and other stores and on Amazon.com from October 2010 to December 2023 for about $10.50 Call 800-227-6063 or email [email protected] for a refund or replacement product.

 

Toys with wooden knobs

Lovevery is recalling 47,000 Slide & Seek ball runs with wooden knobs because the knobs can come loose and children can choke on them. Children’s bicycles

Flat River Group is recalling 22,700 NextGen children’s 10-inch, 12-inch and 16-inch bikes because they do not have foot brakes and children can crash. In addition, 20-inch bikes are recalled because they do not have a chain guard to prevent entrapment of clothing or body parts, and the pedals do not come with reflectors. The bicycles were sold by Army & Air Force Exchange Service, Amazon, Fingerhut, Groupon, HSN, Kohls, Lowe’s, Macy’s, Overstock, QVC, Target, Tractor Supply and Walmart from October 2020 to November 2022 for $80 to $135. Children’s sleepwear

Several companies are recalling children’s sleepwear because it does not meet federal flammability requirements and can cause burns.

Pack and play mattresses 

Several companies are recalling pack and play mattresses because they could pose suffocation hazards to infants.

Spring Spirit and Biloban are recalling 20,000 pack and play mattresses. Spring Spirit (Amazon’s ASIN B086X5RKRZ) and Biloban (Amazon’s ASIN B09WMP2BS3) mattresses were sold on Amazon.com from August 2022 to August 2023 for about $40. Email [email protected] for refund information.

Magik and Kover is recalling 1,200 pack and play mattresses (batch number 221002US) sold on Amazon.com from December 2022 to August 2023 for about $40. Email [email protected] for refund information.

 

Magnetic balls

DailySale is recalling 105 sets of Magnetic DIY Balls Magic Cube because children can swallow the high-powered magnets, causing injuries or death. Bicycle helmets

Bell Sports is recalling 2,425 Bell Soquel youth helmets because the strap anchor can detach and fail to protect the user in the event of a crash. The youth helmets were sold at Fred Meyer, Walmart and other stores nationwide and on Amazon.com from January 2017 to January 2024 for $25 to $50. Liquid fuel bottles

WAOLi is recalling 500 BRS and BULin liquid fuel bottles because they are not child resistant and pose a risk of poisoning or burns to children. Disposable lighters

VPR Brands is recalling 62,200 disposable lighters because they are not child resistant and can pose fire and burn risks. Fishing games

Huihuang Trading is recalling 200 fishing game toys because they contain small high-powered magnets. If children swallow the magnets, they can suffer serious injuries or death.
