Health Alerts: Rolling candy, high chairs, infant swings and more

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to the CPSC’s searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available at www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.

Little People figures

Fisher-Price is recalling 204,000 Little People Mickey and Friends figures because the heads of the Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures can detach and children can choke on them. The figures were sold at Walmart, Kohls, Meijer, HEB and Kroger stores nationwide and online by Amazon and Walmart from May 2023 to February 2024 for about $20. Rolling candy

Twenty Four Six Foods is recalling 290,000 Happiness USA Roller Ball Candies because the candy’s rolling ball can dislodge and children can choke on it. The candies were sold at Kosher market stores nationwide from January 2018 to July 2023 for about $2. Call 833-436-1200 or email recall246foods@gmail.com for a refund.

Infant swings

Jool Baby is recalling 63,100 Nova Baby infant swings because they violate the Safe Sleep for Babies Act and children can suffocate while using the swing. The infant swings were sold at Walmart stores and online by Jool Baby, Amazon, Baby List, Target, Walmart and other websites from November 2022 to November 2023 for about $150. Children’s pants

TJX is recalling 14,500 sets of Tommy Bahama brand children’s pants sets because the plastic piece at the end of the pants’ drawstrings can detach and children can choke on it. The pants were sold at Marshalls stores nationwide from December 2023 to February 2024 for $13 (set with green top) and $15 (set with blue top). Crib mattresses

Forias Direct is recalling 1,900 pack and play mattresses because they violate federal safety standards for crib mattresses and can cause children to suffocate. The mattresses were sold on Amazon.com from May to August 2023 for about $36. Email customer.care@forias.com for a refund.

Bubble Bear brand is recalling 750 crib mattresses because they do not meet federal flammability standards. The mattresses have batch number 20220428CD and were sold on Amazon.com from May to July 2022 for about $55. Email Shenzhen Coral Island Furniture at coralisland2020@outlook.com for a refund.

Magnetic ball sets

Getallfun is recalling 1,140 sets of 216-piece 5mm magnetic balls because children can swallow the magnetic balls and choke. The sets were sold at Getallfun’s store in Aurora, Ill., and at getallfun.com from May 2021 to October 2023 for about $20. Email info@getallfun.com or visit https://bit.ly/3TWhgYb for a refund.

 

Joybuy Marketplace Express is recalling 650 sets of Magnetic Stones Toy Creativity 5mm magnetic beads because children can swallow the magnetic beads and choke. High chairs

SINGES is recalling 175 3-in-1 baby high chairs and booster seats because multiple failures were identified, including with the restraint system, stability, static load, latching and locking mechanisms, leg openings, warnings, labels and literature. The high chair also can tip over or collapse and children can fall. The high chairs were sold on Walmart.com from February 2020 to December 2021 for $75.
