What motivates you to seek this position?
Having worked in the White House, at Lifetime Television, as a chapter board member (eight years), AAP COFGA appointee (six years) and chief of Copley Pediatrics, I worked closely with government, media, nonprofit, medicine, AAP Board Executive Committee and chapter leaders. While attending District I monthly meetings and the Leadership Conference for six years, I understand our unique northern and southern New England chapters, Quebec and Uniformed Services East and would use this lens when representing our district. I am eager to help select leaders reflecting the diversity of our membership who will promote issues important to children and pediatricians.
