AAP authors to sign books on babies, breastfeeding, benefits of being outdoors

While you’re perusing the Exhibit Hall, be sure to stop by the AAP Resource Center (Booth 645) to meet authors and editors of AAP publications and get a free autographed book (while supplies last). Book signings of parenting titles will be held at the following times:

  • 1:15-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28: New Mother’s Guide to Breastfeeding, 4th edition, Editor in Chief Joan Younger Meek, M.D., M.S., R.D., FABM, IBCLC, FAAP
  • 1:15-2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29: Digging Into Nature: Outdoor Adventures for Happier and Healthier Kidsby Pooja Sarin Tandon, M.D., M.P.H., FAAP, and Danette Swanson Glassy, M.D., FAAP

Additionally, R.J. Gillespie, M.D., M.H.P.E., FAAP, and Amy King, Ph.D., will sign their new book The Trauma-Informed Pediatric Practice: A Resilience-Based Roadmap to Foster Early Relational Health from 5-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 in the Professional and Consumer Publishing booth inside the AAP Resource Center (Booth 645). The first 100 attendees in line will receive a free copy. The book also will be available at the special conference price of $35. Additional discounts do not apply.
