Two more inclined sleepers have been recalled following infant deaths in similar products.

Dorel Juvenile Group is voluntarily recalling about 24,000 Eddie Bauer Slumber and Soothe Rock Bassinets and Disney Baby Doze and Dream Bassinets, according to a notice from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The sleepers, which have model numbers BT055CSY and BT071DHS, respectively, were sold at a variety of stores, including Target, Kmart, Ross, Marshalls and T.J. Maxx from November 2014 through February 2017.

No injuries have been reported in these sleepers. However, similar products, including the Fisher-Price Rock ‘n Play and Kids II Rocking Sleepers, have been pulled from the shelves in recent months following infant deaths. At the time of those recalls in the spring, more than 30 infant deaths had been reported between the two products. An inclined sleeper accessory included with all models of Fisher-Price Ultra-Lite Day & Night Play Yards also has been recalled.

Families with the Dorel sleepers should stop using them immediately and contact the company for a $60 voucher. Doral can be reached by phone at 877-657-9546, text message at 812-373-6673 or email at [email protected]. For more information, visit https://www.safety1st.com/safety-notices/united-states.

The AAP does not recommend letting infants sleep in inclined products that require restraining a baby. AAP policy calls for infants to sleep on their back, on a separate, flat and firm sleep surface without any bumpers, bedding or stuffed toys.
