Changes have arrived to My Account, https://services.aap.org/en/my-account, but they need your personal touch.
Now is the time to review and update your AAP online profile information. We’ve enhanced the member experience through improvements to your member profile area which, once updated, will open the door to future AAP Digital Transformation Initiative (DTI) benefits.
The DTI was launched as part of the Five-Year Strategic Plan to enhance the Academy’s communication with members and stakeholders. The goal of the DTI is to simplify your experience, personalize content offerings and connect users within the AAP community.
The latest DTI updates to My Account aim to improve your contact, personal and professional information and security settings. To get the most out of the new tool, members should add new profile information and remove inaccurate data. Think of it as a digital spring cleaning. If you no longer use contact information, remove it. Doing so helps reduce electronic and paper waste.
Here’s how to review, update your profile
Log in to My Account. You will notice cleaner standardized profile fields in which to enter information such as your preferred designation and street address.
While reviewing information, you can manage and update multiple email addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers and other profile details.
When changing address information, members can see details about what AAP subscriptions/publications are sent there. Also, standardized data fields for members’ addresses align with postal standards, increasing delivery accuracy.
Watch for enhancements to My Account. To get the most out of these DTI changes, verify your profile information right away.
Changes to AAP digital features are based on feedback from members. If you would like to submit a comment, click on the Provide Feedback tab on the right side of the screen on every page.
