CME: Explore the critical role of imaging in abuse evaluation :

Interested in learning more about the medical evaluation of abuse? Attend the continuing medical education (CME) course “Imaging of Child Abuse: Exam Room, Reading Room and Court Room” Feb. 26-28 in Orlando, Fla.

Half-day sessions will cover the neurologic, skeletal and visceral injury patterns seen in child physical abuse, identify variants that may simulate abuse, apply new imaging techniques for the evaluation of suspected abuse, describe relevant legal definitions, and define the parameters that constitute responsible expert witness testimony in cases of alleged abuse.
