The annual changes to International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) codes will be implemented on October 1, 2020. The following changes were made based on requests from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). The AAP also requested new codes for sickle cell diseases and congenital myopathies, which are discussed in the article, “ICD-10-CM 2020–2021: New and Revised Codes for Syndromes,” elsewhere in this issue.
Four new codes for neonatal cerebral infarction will be implemented as requested by the AAP.
