You find the tables with RVUs and you are overwhelmed by the sheer size of it, are confused as to which column of RVUs to use, and can't make sense of the indicators. This article is a “translation” that should help you decipher the Medicare National Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) Relative Value File. Keep in mind that this is the Medicare fee schedule; these indicators may or may not be used or followed by commercial payers or Medicaid programs.
